The Basics...
Name: Ynk
Age: 4 1/2
Gender: Male
Clan: Kawi
Ranks: Alpha Male
Appearance: Ynk is different shades of brown. His underbelly and legs are a light cream to white color while his sides and head go from light to dark brown. His ears are a very eye catching brown to orange coloration as are the mid section of his front and hind legs and near the tip of this tail. His back and tail are littered with black and gray hairs as are the sides of his neck and his forehead.
As for his build? Ynk is a sturdy, compact, well muscled individual. He isn't too muscled to where he looks out of place, but he isn't close to being thin at all. His fur is very thick but soft which the thickness of his coat makes him look a bit bigger than he really is.
His face is covered in claw and bite marks, especially on the right side of his face on his muzzle and near and under his right eye.
Speaking of his eyes... Ynk's eyes are a very pale yellow.
On the Inside...
Personality: Wise beyond his years. A teddy bear, a loving creature, a very sensitive individual underneath his scary exterior. Ynk is a very sweet wolf and although his voice is rasp and deep he is always polite and caring unless the situation calls for a different attitude from him.
He goes above and beyond for his pack anytime he feels it is necessary, which he considers it necessary at all times. He puts others before himself and never himself before others.
Ynk is quite sure of his actions and there is no second thoughts in his head. He never hesitates and he does what he thinks is right at that moment and doesn't go on regretting his actions later. What happens, happens.
He is never shy about speaking his mind and although he is polite he will always be sure to let you know when he doesn't agree with something...in the most polite way he possibly can.
Ynk can honestly turn the tables on the turn of a dime... It is frightening to some. He can transform from the loving teddy bear he always is around his pack into this merciless killer on the battlefield. He doesn't show mercy and he will kill quickly when he needs to and make others suffer when they deserve it.
He is very loyal to his pack and those he loves and holds close. He is a force many wouldn't want to stand in the way of. He is overprotective, a stubborn fighter that will fight to the death, but most of all probably the most faithful and loving dog you'll ever meet. Ynk is easy to talk to and you either really love him or really hate him.

Digging Deeper...
History: Ynk is the son of the old Betas. He was born in the last and only surviving litter to the old Beta pair.
He was the middle child with an older brother and younger sister in his litter. They were born quite healthy compared to the previous litters the Betas had had before them. They were definitely three little miracles to their parents and they were fiercely protected and doted over by them.
Ynk grew up alongside the Alpha pairs only child, a female named Catori. Although, 'alongside' isn't exactly the best word to use to explain how close, or distant, he was from her. For a good year he and his siblings weren't allowed out very much. He rarely got to interact with Catori and so he was constantly forced to only interact with his littermates and soon a friendly competition between his brother and himself started. His older brother insisted on asserting dominance from very early on but as Ynk got older he began to fight back as he grew tired of being pushed around.
Eventually when it was time to start learning how to hunt this is when he got closer to Catori and further away from his older brother and his bullying. His shy younger sister also grew distant from their older brother and she began to branch out a bit more and started to make friends.
Ynk remained close to Catori throughout the years and he was there for her when her parents passed. He was relentless as he fought alongside her and protected the spot of leadership that Catori's parents left behind.
During the fight his parents also passed... They were old. They had been lucky enough to have been able to conceive and have Ynk and his brother and sister at the time they did even though they had already been quite old.
A mix of old age and sadness took them. His mother went first and his father passed from old age and depression from the loss of his mate and the loss of his alphas only a week after Ynk's mother passed.
Ynk didn't stop though and he stayed strong even as the sadness ate him up from the inside. He did his best for Catori, his dear friend. Ynk's sister ended up leaving the pack while his brother on the other hand started to lose it. His best friend had been their mother and he quickly turned for the worst once their mother passed. He turned into a much more aggressive individual... Ynk's brother went on and challenged Catori for the Alpha position but Ynk stepped in and fought for Catori and defended her and the position for her.
He is responsible for the scars on Ynk's face but for Ynk those are his trophies since he ended up winning the fight and secured the Alpha Male position, fairly. His brother was kicked into the lowest of the ranks and was left to decide on his own if he wanted to leave or remain the lowest wolf on the totem pole. His brother decided to stay and has his good respectful days and his bad days where he gives Ynk a hard time.
Ynk feels odd in his spot as Alpha, considering him and Catori aren't mates but yet they are the Alpha 'pair'. He has mixed feelings about her but currently his feelings for her are still that of her being his best friend and nothing more. But then again, he believes in chances and things changing and becoming more or less. He faces Catori and the idea of her staying just his best friend or her becoming more to him with a very open mind.
Other: He wants pups before he is 5 1/2 years old. He doesn't want to be old like his parents were when they had him and his siblings.
