- Soldier -
"A soldier on my own, I don't know the way"
Eleanor approached a small clearing in the woods.
She stood very still as soon as she was in the center of the small clearing and her dull yellow eyes scanned the clearing carefully.
It was early morning and the sun was beginning to rise and all Eleanor wanted to do was watch the sun rise but with where she was currently? She wouldn't be able to watch the sun rise.
She had become a member of the Sahoni Clan a little over 2 months ago and during that time she had finally reached her 3rd birthday. She felt no different even though she was now a year older. Oh, but she was sure she'd feel very different if she had aged a few more years and started growing gray hairs. She would have certainly felt the difference and her joints would be aching.
The young female was not looking forward to old age. She hoped she'd age well, that was for sure.
She padded quietly onward back into the thick woods and away from the opening and she started on her way towards the camp where she would try and relax for a bit before having to head out again and do her job as a Guardian for the pack.
It took awhile but she finally arrived back at the camp and she made her way around near the dens, sniffing at each entrance, looking for an unclaimed and unoccupied den.
She stopped in front of one den and as usual it was unoccupied but it was claimed... By Red Rot.
Eleanor tilted her head slightly as she stared at the entrance of the den for a while. "She has a perfectly good den here and she never sleeps here. Such an odd wolf, indeed." The elegant female muttered under her breath before she began to debate in silence if she should just take refuge in the den since Red Rot seemed to never sleep in it. She assumed the female would not mind anyway and if she did then Eleanor would find some excuse to tell the female for why she was in it and hopefully the black she-wolf would let it slide. Eleanor had never truly interacted with the black wolf really before. She only knew her name and her face and always remembered those bright fiery colored eyes that even sent a chill down Eleanor's spine the first time she met the wolf.
She always wondered why that wolf was never around. Oh well, Eleanor shrugged it off and she didn't have a den of her own yet so she stepped into the den that belonged to the black wolf and circled around in it before coming back to the entrance and laying with her front half outside of the den so she could watch everyone else that was moving around the camp and going about their daily duties.
